Baton of Hope volunteers needed

The Baton of Hope is a national charity which has gained significant traction in raising awareness of the issue of suicide prevention. Their website can be found at batonofhopeuk.org. Sheffield Friends of Baton of Hope has been active for the last 3 years supporting the national charity by organising a local Relay passing the Baton itself, a Walk of Hope and a national conference at The Octagon. Our current priority is to roll out a local pilot study of the BoH’s Workplace Pledge (see the website for more details). Sheffield City Council is funding this work. We need to strengthen our group of 15 volunteers by recruiting 2 people who can help us identify local small businesses who might be interested in signing up to the Pledge and taking up our training.
